I love the little hole-in-the-wall-feel of the place! The food is great - haven't been disappointed with anything we've had! I've been in on a slow night and a busy night (delivery boys constantly coming and going with pick-up orders up to wazoo), and the cooks still take their time ensuring quality and consistency. I've been to several pizza places in Northern St Johns/Julington Creek area, and this place is the best I've been to.

Well, I don't want to keep putting up negative reviews, but it sure is hard to find good service anymore. Placed my first order at Vinos, through grub hub, and after an hour and a half they brought me the wrong pizza. When I called to let them know, the girl who answered the phone handed me off to a guy that wanted to argue about what I ordered, as if he never makes mistakes. I have my confirmation email from grub hub, indicating my order. Overall, very unprofessional, and it always is a bummer when you order food and don't get it for over two hours. I'm pretty sure this guy thinks the customer is always wrong. And, unbelievably, when the correct pizza arrived, they asked for the wrong one back! No problem, we hadn't eaten it jack. Nothing like a final nail in the coffin. Don't worry, we won't give you a second try....

Tried this place out. Nope. It was like every other generic NY style pizza pace. Pizza was lacking flavor. Will stick to brucci's

Good take out regular/thin crust pizza. Don't bother with the "Sicilian" as it is pre-made. I know this because I asked for extra sauce and it was dropped by the tablespoon ON top of the toppings. Pretty dry overall so when I buy from this place in the future, only thin pizza for us. As for the person who said they would stick with Brucci's, Little Caesers puts out more flavor on their pizza than Brucci's.

We order something from Vino's at least 3-4 times per month. Can't think of any time over the past 5+ years where we weren't satisfied with our order. Just a great little Italian restaurant and there are a lot to choose from out here in our area. Vino's is by far the best!!!

For the most part this place is a decent place to grab pizza. I usually order from here if I ever get take out pizza. The pizza is better than most other take out pizza places.

Great little spot. Good food, prices, and service. Bring a jacket, the staff cares more about their comfort than the customers comfort.

So, based on previous reviews, I was a little hesitant to give the place a try. We decided to order takeout since they offered sandwiches in addition to small pizzas -- the family wanted pizza and I wasn't in the mood. So we ordered a small cheese, a small pepperoni/mushroom and a steak/cheese/onion sandwich. Pizza: the 10" was perfect for my little kids and didn't leave me with a ton of leftovers. Glad they had the option for a small pizza with a fairly decent price. Crust was thin and crisp, but we don't mind that style and I personally prefer it to a thick doughy crust. There was plenty of cheese and a good balance of sauce. All in all not bad. Steak/Cheese/onions -- not like ones you get up North. The bread was decent and the sandwich was a good size, but it was fairly bland- I think they forgot to season it... There wasn't nearly enough cheese to go with the steak to give it that gooey cheesesteak feeling, it was just very dry. The onions appeared to be more steamed in texture as opposed to fried on on the grill, so that was a different element too. Probably wouldn't order that one again. So overall, I'd go back and order pizza takeout again over some of the other places around here. I'l give the sandwiches another try at some point.

My wife and I have tried a few different pizza joints in Jacksonville, and you really can't beat Vino's FOR THE PRICE. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is good. They don't overthink it... just a good hand-tossed crust. But when it comes down to it, the price just can't be beat.

We like it. It is close to our house. I like the tortollinis.

Regretfully, the only thing good thing to say is our pizza was hot. We ordered a deluxe pizza that should have had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, beef, black olives and extra cheese. Most ingredients were visibly missing. Basically tasteless with a crust that resembled cardboard. Definitely not a do over.
